Theodore R. (Ted) Sares is a semi-retired private investor who lives in the White Mountains area of Northern New Hampshire with his wife Holly and Min Pin Jackdog.

He founded Sares Capital Associates, Inc. in 1992 with offices in Weston and Bolton, MA and strategic business alliances in Geneva, Brussels and Seoul. Previously, Mr. Sares was Worldwide Director of Employee Relations for Digital Equipment Corporation (later acquired by Compaq Computer) from which he retired in 1992. In 1996, he was instrumental in the successful start-up of the Cambridge Outplacement firm, Zissis-McGovern Marketing You, Inc.

Ted holds a BA (with High Honors) in Economics, an MS, and a Ph.D. In Business Administration. He is accredited for life by the Society for Human Resources as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and was an adjunct professor of Business Management subjects at Rider College (NJ), Fairfield University (CT), and Boston University for several years.

Ted has been elected to a number of Municipal positions both in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and has served on the Board of several prominent non-profit organizations. He is currently a School Board Treasurer, , a member of the Town Planning Board, and a Trustee of the Conway Public Library.

He is now actively involved in writing columns, essays, articles and short stories for a number of different publications.
